All right everyone, prepare for a parade of stories coming your way, because just thinking about writing this, I’m tired. School ended in June, so the next day I got started with my “plans” for the summer.
Let’s just say you should be scared right now.
So, since we have some family working at the airlines, we get to fly non rev anywhere and any day. There may be some problems getting on the flight, but hey! You know what they say:”Free makes EVERYTHING better.” So, first stop? Oklahoma City. Why Oklahoma City? My friend lives there. Let me tell you my experience in Oklahoma City!
“Sir, I am sorry, but you passed the line. You are going to have to go through security ALL OVER AGAIN.” WHAT? Did I just hear that? My dad went to drop me off with my friend, and he takes one step over a red line, and he is done. Man these people where strict! My dad was in such a rush, that I called my friend 5 times. Finally, she showed up, and my journey began.
Oklahoma City. I do admit that I didn’t really expect a lot of beauty. But just a little please? Oklahoma is made of plains and grass. The beauty of Oklahoma is not the nature. It is the citizens of Oklahoma. During my trip, my friend introduced me to some of her new friends. Even though we didn’t really know each other, one of her friends and I was exactly alike! We care a lot about animals, and we are crazy at times!
The one day that I will always remember is when my two friends and I went out for the whole day. What was our first stop? Of course it was Sonic!
To this very day, I am still thanking my friends for introducing Sonic to me! Sure, its burgers are not as flavorful, tasty, crispy-Well; let’s just say it’s just like another McDonald’s! But Sonic has something that nothing else does: They serve food to you while on roller blades! Yes, it may sound like nothing, but it buts the fun into ordering!
Next we were on our way to the ASPCA! I held the tiniest kitten you can ever see! It was two weeks old, but I don’t remember his name! He was truly a little shy one! It turns out that the kitten was bought by one of my friends!
Everyday we went to the community pool. But one day, we brought the pool to my friend’s house. There we were, just sitting on the trampoline, where out of nowhere, my friend turned on the hose and the water hit my face as fast as a boulder dropping to the ground. Suddenly, I ran to my friend and grabbed the hose from her, drenching her in water. All 3 of us were soaking each other, until all of this lead to a game! It was so much fun, we did this everyday.
I really enjoyed my time in Oklahoma, and I hope that I get to visit back next year! Watch out for Part 2 of my crazy summer, coming next week!
